New Year, New Music, Same Love

It is an integral part of what we do to provide for our fans music and moments to feel moved by as we strive forward in our times. As we welcome the 2018 year, TROY is excited about many things. We have received many opportunities and many blessings since the release of our last ep “Two Worlds” and as we anticipate a release of our newest album in the 2018 year, we are reminded of the magic made possible by the loving support of our loyal fans. Our hearts lead us to play and our fires are fueled by the appreciation and love that we receive in return.

While finishing the newest upcoming album, we also prepare for the season of music festivals ahead, including our performance at Rocklahoma in Pryor, OK, and gain excitement in returning to see so many of our beloved fans. While not on tour we think of those we have made connections with, all of our fans and friends, and we anticipate seeing all of those folks once again! TROY looks forward to touring in 2018 and celebrating what we do with those who make it possible for us with some fresh tasty jams. We appreciate all those who joined us last weekend on the 12^th at The Riff in our hometown of Springfield MO. It was a great show to kick off the new year! We had a blast sharing the set list with so many who have supported us for so long. Stay posted for updates on the new album and tour dates where you can hear the new stuff!

TROY Joins Last Leg of the Unleashed Tour w/ Skillet & Devour the Day

We could not be more ecstatic to announce that we have been added to the Unleashed Tour, hosted by Skillet! We will be joining Skillet and Devour the Day for the final three shows of the Unleashed Tour at the following cities:

TROY nation! The saga continues! We officially moved into round two of the Hit the Stage contest hosted by Metallica! Thank you to everyone for the votes and helping us to get that much closer to hitting the stage with gods of rock but now we must ask for your final votes to help us seal the deal. TROY is one of eight finalists left in this contest and every vote counts! Voting is now done at Metallica.com and there is no sign-up process in order to vote. TROY is in a contest to open for Metallica on their upcoming tour and needs your vote! Voting can be done once every 24 hours and the first round of voting ends on April 12th! The winning band will get to perform at five different Metallica tour dates including the St. Louis show on June 4th at Busch Stadium!

Point listeners will be able to vote once-per-24-hours from Wednesday, April 5th at 12:00pm CT through 11:59pm CT on Wednesday, April 12th on which band they think should “HIT THE LIGHTS” and potentially open for Metallica. One vote per entry, per person, per email address allowed every 24-hours.

The top two (2) voted bands from The Point local submissions, will then move on to the next stage. Starting Friday, April 14th, 10 bands from 5 different cities (including the 2 selected from STL) will go live on Metallica.com for voting. On Wednesday, April 26th the national winner will be selected and announced on Metallica.com

The winning band is then off to Boston, MA a few weeks later to join the line-up for the five Metallica tour dates listed below…

TROY Rocks 2nd Annual Toys for Tickets Presented By Q102.1

2nd Annual Toys for Tickets Raises Over 300 Toys

The 2nd Annual Toys for Tickets holiday toy drive was a giant success and we are grateful to have been a part of this event for the second year in a row! Presented by Springfield’s Rock Station Q102.1, Toys for Tickets was created to help raise toys for less fortunate kids during the Christmas season by having concert-goers provide a toy instead of money for a ticket. We had such a fun time being a part of the first Toys for Tickets in 2016 and the 2nd Annual event was no different!

The lineup included The Pour, Bridge to Grace, TROY & Devour the Day. Over 300 toys were collected to be donated! Events like this are always a great reminder of how strong and supportive our rock community is. One of the reasons why we do what we do is because of the gift of giving and the good that comes from sharing joy with others. We thank Q102.1 for continuing this awesome deal and having us on the show for some pregaming, the Outland Ballroom for housing the party, as well as the Springfield rock community and all our brothers and sisters for rocking out for a great cause!
