I am My Own

I Am My Own

A question…

I’ve been alone here buried in waste, a struggle with fortune that I can’t erase/But all of these legends will fall short of me, for I am what has been and what is to be.

Be not impressed with all that you’ve done, take not what is given but hold the Divine. If you seek refuge keep this in mind, I’m not the answer…

Through all these writings I find what I need, a Maker of millions that holds our own key/But I will not beg. I will not steal. Step through the shadows and find what is real.
