2nd Annual Toys for Tickets Raises Over 300 Toys
The 2nd Annual Toys for Tickets holiday toy drive was a giant success and we are grateful to have been a part of this event for the second year in a row! Presented by Springfield’s Rock Station Q102.1, Toys for Tickets was created to help raise toys for less fortunate kids during the Christmas season by having concert-goers provide a toy instead of money for a ticket. We had such a fun time being a part of the first Toys for Tickets in 2016 and the 2nd Annual event was no different!
The lineup included The Pour, Bridge to Grace, TROY & Devour the Day. Over 300 toys were collected to be donated! Events like this are always a great reminder of how strong and supportive our rock community is. One of the reasons why we do what we do is because of the gift of giving and the good that comes from sharing joy with others. We thank Q102.1 for continuing this awesome deal and having us on the show for some pregaming, the Outland Ballroom for housing the party, as well as the Springfield rock community and all our brothers and sisters for rocking out for a great cause! Happy holidays TROY Nation!

TROY Rocked Toys for Tickets w/ Stitched Up Heart, Like a Storm & Trapt
The Reality Of Yourself had a blast at the first annual Toys for Tickets presented by Q102.1 and was reminded by this event of why we love our rock community so much! Toys for Tickets was created to help raise toys for less fortunate kids in our own community during the Christmas season by having concert-goers provide a toy instead of money for a ticket. TROY joined the stage with Stitched Up Heart, Like a Storm & Trapt for the sold out event – over 350 toys were collected to be donated!
Q102.1 was awesome for putting this thing together and the community did amazing at following through and making the whole thing a great success! TROY feels grateful to have been a part of a great cause and honored to have shared the night with so many amazing artists and fans. Our rock community is strong & this was a great reminder of the difference we can make when we make the decision to.
Happy Holidays TROY Nation!
TROY opened the night with a bang for Missouri brothers, Shaman’s Harvest
TROY has been working hard this summer preparing for their trip to L.A. to record as well as playing regional shows and hosting their Evolution Showcase series. A sold out show in their hometown with Shaman’s Harvest made for yet another great way to celebrate all that The Reality Of Yourself has been through this year as well as the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
TROY had anticipated sharing the stage with Shaman’s Harvest again ever since they last jammed together in August at a gig in Rolla, MO. Although it wasn’t planned, it turned out to be a two band bill for the night which actually helped to make the evening special. TROY was able to play a little bit more material for their fans and the crowd was able to experience two hard-hitting and up and coming mid-western rock n’ rollers in a more unique setting.
Shaman’s Harvest originated out of Missouri as well, specifically Jeff City, and has been around for over 15 years. Shaman’s Harvest is commonly recognized by their single “Dragonfly” which reached #16 on Billboard’s Active Rock charts in 2009. They have come back with a punch touring the U.S. over the last year on their latest album “Smokin’ Hearts & Broken Guns”. These guys spent the larger part of the 2015 summer touring with Black Stone Cherry and playing many rock n’ roll festivals. There is no doubt that they are working their way towards something great.
The Reality Of Yourself owes Q102, Shaman’s Harvest, and the Outland Ballroom a big thanks for letting us play this show. Thank you to everyone who came out to and helped to make it a sell out show, & thank you for your continued support and love. Rock on and we’ll see you October 2nd!
